DESCRIPTION:DUE TO THE TREMENDOUS INTEREST IN THIS PROGRAM\, THIS PROGRAM IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.\n\nRegistration for the Essex County Small Business Lease Emergency Assistance Grant Program begins Monday\, Nov 16. \n\nAMOUNT: UP TO $30\,000 GRANT\n\nProcessing Agency: NJ Redevelopment Authority will administer the program by accepting and reviewing the applications.\n\nEligible Applicants:\n\n  Essex County based Small Businesses and Non-Profit Agencies.\n\n  Tenants leasing commercial space in mixed-used buildings or commercial buildings.\n\n  Store front businesses that lease their space.\n\n  Leased premises must be no more than 7500 sq.ft.\n\n  Applicants do not have to be delinquent on their lease payments.\n\n  Not eligible to apply are businesses that are engaged in gambling or "adult" activities\, auction sales\, Christmas tree sales\, tattoo parlors\, smoke shops and liquor stores.\n\n\n\nApply for this grant starting 11/16 at 9 am at www.ecsmallbiz.org \n\nApplications will be processed on a first come\, first serve basis.
