DESCRIPTION:The North Essex Business Resource Breakfast is a structured networking event providing each attendee the opportunity to present a brief commercial about their business and interact with members and guests. Each breakfast features a business leader speaking on a topic of interest. Attendees have the opportunity to openly network with one another in a casual and friendly atmosphere.\n\n \n\nThis month's presentation will be:\n\n\n\nEssex County Resources for Small Businesses\n\nJobi Odeneye\, M.A.\, MBA\, Ph.D.\n\nOutreach and Engagement Manager\n\nEssex County Workforce Development Board / Office of Small Business Development\n\n\n\nAbout Dr. Jobi Odeneye\n\nDr. Jobi Odeneye is responsible for Outreach and Engagement for the Essex County Office of Small Business Development (SBD) and the Essex County Workforce Development Board (WDB). In this position\, he reaches out to small\, woman-owned\, veteran-owned\, LGBTQ+-owned\, and minority businesses. He encourages these businesses to compete successfully for contracts by providing supportive information and technical assistance based on strategic partnerships. Dr. Odeneye represents the SBD and the WDB at events and meetings to form and consolidate relevant partnerships. For about two decades\, he was a small business owner with interests in finance\, food production\, wholesale distribution\, import\, and export. His versatile work experiences traverse construction\, automotive\, electronic\, and telecommunication sales. Dr. Odeneye earned a Ph.D. in Management and is also an adjunct faculty in the MBA program at a public university in New Jersey\, where he teaches management and marketing courses.\n\n \n\n\nThe North Essex Chamber would like to thank Cloverleaf Tavern and Shoprite of Caldwell whose generosity makes the Business Resource Breakfast possible.\n\n\n\nAre you an NECC member and would you like to speak at one of our monthly events?
