DESCRIPTION:Bring LIGHT to the darkness of cancer by helping fund lifesaving research and providing hope to patients and their families by joining The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk in Verona\, NJ on Saturday\, October 13th\, 2018 at Verona Park.\n\n\n\nJoin the NECC team or make a donation at:  https://pages.lightthenight.org/nj/Verona18/northessexchamberofcommerce\n\n\n\nThe Leukemia & Lymphoma Society exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients.  Today\, LLS is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to finding cures for leukemia\, lymphoma\, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and all other blood cancers.  \n\n\n\nLight The Night is an inspirational community event that raises awarness and funding for groundbreaking research and treatment options to eliminate cancer.  In 2017\, our NJ walks reached more than 13\,000 people and raised over $3 million dollars for LLS.  The walk itself is about 1.5 miles and is wheelchair accessible and stroller friendly.  Anyone can participate.   During this special event\, fundraising participants carry illuminated lanterns\, in honor\, in memory\, and in support of those to cancer.  \n\n\n\nBecause of the generousity of our corporate and community teams\, the NJ Chapter continues to support groundbreaking research\, clinical trials\, and provides cancer patients and their families\, all across NJ.\n\n\n\nJoin us for this special evening by visiting www.lightthenight.org  Become a Champion For Cures by raising $100 for the walk. Become a Bright Light by raising $1000 for this event.
