It is our hope to bring you a truly unique and exciting virtual chocolate tasting experience by introducing you to Villakuyaya. an Ecuadorian-based, female-owned artisanal chocolatier.

Take time to refocus, re-energize, and reconnect with fellow community-oriented women. This live virtual tasting will be led by Impact member and educator Heidi Hawkins, a longtime advocate for plant-based diets and all things chocolate! Heidi will guide you on a delectable tasting trip to the lush cacao farms of Ecuador’s North Pacific coast. Enjoy this global experience while also focusing on the mindfulness of taste, enjoyment of the moment, and the importance of sustainability, connection, and the impact we can have together.

When you join Impact100 Garden State’s Chocolate Tasting Experience, you will learn the fascinating history of crafting organic, fair-trade chocolate. Our host will guide us through an extensive chocolate tasting that may change the way you eat chocolate (and maybe introduce you to a new favorite treat!). This experience is interactive, so you’ll be able to ask questions, share your tasting thoughts, and compare with others.

The mission of Impact100 Garden State is to engage women in philanthropy by collectively providing high impact grants to nonprofits serving the counties of Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex or Union.  The goal is to provide transformational funds to organizations that reach under-served populations, and to highlight unmet needs in the areas of Arts & Culture; Children & Families; Education; Environment, Preservation & Recreation; and Health & Wellness. Their vision is to be a premier women-led New Jersey philanthropic organization, inspiring members to become more engaged with their communities.
