Registration for the Essex County Small Business Lease Emergency Assistance Grant Program begins Monday, Nov 16. 
AMOUNT: UP TO $30,000 GRANT
Processing Agency: NJ Redevelopment Authority will administer the program by accepting and reviewing the applications.
Eligible Applicants:
• Essex County based Small Businesses and Non-Profit Agencies.
• Tenants leasing commercial space in mixed-used buildings or commercial buildings.
• Store front businesses that lease their space.
• Leased premises must be no more than 7500 sq.ft.
• Applicants do not have to be delinquent on their lease payments.
• Not eligible to apply are businesses that are engaged in gambling or “adult” activities, auction sales, Christmas tree sales, tattoo parlors, smoke shops and liquor stores.
